Skinny Marinara Zoodle Pasta



Skinny Marinara Zoodle Pasta

Cook Time : 20 minutes 
Total Time : 1 hour

Ingredients:
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium sweet white onion
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled and minced (or pressed)
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves,chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (or a pinch of cayenne)
  • 8-10 small zucchinis, spiralized
  • Freshly-grated Parmesan cheese, for grating
  • Prepared meatballs - optional (I buy Aidells brand)
